Provision of medical checks on absences from work on the 3 European Parliament sites (lot 1 — Brussels/lot 2 — Luxembourg/lot 3 — Strasbourg).
The European Parliament has decided to launch this contract in order to enter into framework contracts with general practitioners and psychiatrists working close to the 3 sites of the European Parliament (Brussels/Luxembourg/Strasbourg) to offer ad hoc medical checks, as determined by the European Parliament, in accordance with Articles 59 and 60 of the Staff Regulations, Articles 13 and 15 of Annex VIII, and Articles 16, 33, 91, 101, 102, 131(5) and 135 of the conditions of employment of other servants of the European Union. The sole purpose of these checks is to assess the physical or mental state of the official or agent of the European Parliament and decide whether they are fit to resume work.

Brussels Region and the surrounding area, Flemish Brabant and Walloon Brabant.
Signature of framework contracts with general practitioners and psychiatrists working close to the European Parliament in Brussels to offer ad hoc medical checks, as determined by the European Parliament, in accordance with Articles 59 and 60 of the Staff Regulations, Articles 13 and 15 of Annex VIII, and Articles 16, 33, 91, 101, 102, 131(5) and 135 of the conditions of employment of other servants of the European Union. The sole purpose of these checks is to assess the physical or mental state of the official or agent of the European Parliament and decide whether they are fit to resume work.
The framework contracts will be carried out via purchase orders signed following application of a system for placing orders without a new call for competition.
The implementation of this system will include the signature of a maximum of 10 framework contracts with the first 10 economic operators ranked in descending order once the tenders submitted have been assessed.
